HOW TO ENJOY
How to Use a Sauna: 5 Steps to 'Totonou' Through Contrast Bathing

Start with a shower
Rinse your body before entering the sauna. This helps you sweat more effectively.

Warm up in the sauna (8-12 min)
Go at your own pace. Beginners should start on the lower bench. Leave if you feel dizzy.

Cool down in the cold plunge (30s-1min)
The cold feels intense at first but you'll adjust quickly. Start with the 15°C pool.

Reach 'totonou' (5-10 min)
'Totonou' is the state where contrast bathing shifts your body from the heightened sympathetic nervous system to the parasympathetic, wrapping you in deep relaxation and euphoria. Sink into a reclining chair, close your eyes, and unwind. The blissful feeling that arrives with each deep breath is the 'totonou' experience.

Repeat 2-3 sets
Repeat the sauna → cold plunge → rest cycle 2-3 times for the deepest relaxation.
